I have taught and been a school librarian with Alice Independent School District for 34 years. I am an alumni of Alice Independent School District, Texas A&I University and Sam Houston University where I earned my master's degree in library science.
This year I have several goals. My first goal is to encourage our students to read by helping them to set individual goals. I want to introduce the younger students to how exciting reading a book can be and to help the more experienced readers rediscover how reading can enrich their lives. My next goal is to introduce stem into our library , so that our students and teachers will look forward to visiting their library.
