The mission of the Alice Independent School District, as a total community educational system committed to excellence, with primary emphasis on the PK to 12 program, is to graduate students who, through participation in quality instructional program, in innovative and challenging education experiences, and in partnership with the community, will develop self-esteem, moral values, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills which will prepare them to become responsible, productive citizens of the 21st century.

Goal 1. All students will demonstrate academic growth and each campus will achieve at local, state, and federal standards with an ultimate goal of exemplary student performance.
Students will achieve 90% on the STAAR Reading, Math, and Science tests.
The percentage of students scoring advanced academics on the STAAR Reading,
Math, and Science tests will increase by 10%.
Goal 2. All students will demonstrate proficiencies required for graduation.
The attendance rate will increase by 2 percentage points.
The tardy rate will be decreased by 10%.
Goal 3. All students will be taught by highly-qualified staff.
The campus will recruit and maintain the percentage of highly-qualified staff at 100%.
Goal 4. All staff will ensure a safe and positive school climate conducive to learning.
The number of discipline incidences will decrease by 10%.
The number of out of school suspensions will decrease by 5%.
The number of in school suspensions will decrease by 10%.
Goal 5. All staff, students, parents, and community members will promote comprehensive home, school, and community partnerships.
Parental involvement participation in meetings will increase by 10% as documented in the Parental Involvement Yearly Report.
Return of Home-School Compacts will remain at 100%.
Goal 6. All teachers and students will be technology literate and utilize technology tools and resources to enhance learning.
The percentage of students utilizing classroom technology will increase by 10%.
